How to manage being a mom & having fun?
Ok I'm 19, married & have a 3 month old baby boy. I LOVE my life & wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm a stay at home mother, I cook, clean, do laundry, EVERYTHING! But sometimes I need a break & want to go out & act my age. So my question is what's a good way to manage being a mother & wife, but every once in a while go out with the hubby? I'm not talking every weekend but every once in a blue moon.
Hey, I'm a mother myself to a gorgeous one & a half month old little girl, Solara-Avery. I know exactly how you feel - when your become a mother your social life primarily disperse's. I'm 17 and a social life just doesn't exist anymore, granted I wouldn't change my life for the world. To incorporate Solara into my nights as much as possible I get my friends over, get a glass of wine and order a chinese - Solara sits happily in her bouncer snuggled in her blankets and I get to converse with friends and indulge in some recreational time. Why don't you get a friend/relative to watch your son and go out with your husband to the cinema or restaurant? Me and my fiancee still manage to go out every once in a while - granted my mum will watch her for a few hours but as a full-time mother we need time for ourselves and evidently most of our day is taken up by our children. If you can spare an hour or two (wishful thinking I'm certain) leave your little boy with a relative and go out even if its just for a coffee - just spend time together.
