What color wedding shoes and panty hose?
I just got my wedding dress last weekend. Next stop - shoes! My dress is ivory, and has lavender and gold embroidered flowers in the lace. I was figuring I would look for ivory shoes. (Is there even such a thing??) I also want to wear panty hose, but what color? I figured a nude color, but someone told me I should get white. I think white would look odd with an ivory dress and ivory shoes. And yes, people will see, during the garter removal, right? One other question about shoes: Is it dumb to wear panty hose with a peep-toe shoe?? I would look for the kind that doesn't have the little line at the toe. I can't imagine not wearing hose.... What would you suggest?
I would suggest nude or buff colored hosiery. Definately not white. It would indeed look odd against the ivory shades of your gown and shoes. Because you are wearing peep toe shoes, may I suggest you get a pair of hosiery that is toeless? I believe that Hane's hosiery sells some of these, for this very purpose. That way, you have hosiery on without the toe line. As for ivory bridal shoes, you can definately find some online. I was trying to recall where I found some...but no such luck. Sorry. But I know they are out there.
