Maternity Pajamas Are the Perfect Gift For a Mom-To-Be
Unsure what to get that expecting mother-to-be? This is a common problem for moms that seem to already have everything they need, particularly if it is not there first child and they are expecting another baby of the same gender. Most likely they already have all the baby clothes they will ever need from their first child, their gifting grandparents and relatives and really everyone else since everybody loves to give baby clothes. However, it is less likely they have a set of delicious maternity and nursing pajamas for themselves. Stylish and comfortable maternity nightclothes that will take a woman through the postpartum weeks and early nursing months are always a welcome gift.
One of the big advantages of buying sleepwear for an expecting friend or relative is that first, you can never have too much sleepwear, especially a very nice and comfortable sleepwear set that you can take the hospital to back home to lounge in for weeks after you have your baby. Second, sleepwear is easy to fit and people are less particular about the fit as long as it's comfortable since they will in fact be sleeping in it and not wearing it to the mall or out to dinner.
Third, maternity pajamas and loungewear is pretty much what new moms are living in for the first few weeks following the birth of their baby. It is also maybe the only comfortable items they have to wear in the last month before they give birth since all their other maternity clothes are too small and it's too late to buy new ones.
Sleepwear is a particularly prized possession for women on bed rest during the last weeks or months or their pregnancy. You may also want to highlight that on the receipt so that she knows. Some stores are more generous on returns that are gifts, so make sure you have that information in writing in an email or by hand from the store you purchase. After all, you want to make life easier for an expecting mom, not another headache, so that she can get a good night's sleep!
