How to nurse baby Blue Jay eggs?
The eggs are ALIVE, I definitely know that. They were still warm when we found them early this morning so we brought them inside, put them in a lizard tank (With no lizard in it.), put them in a tupperware box, and we have had the heat lamp on medium over top of them. I'm not sure if they fell out of a nest or were taken out by predators but they were underneath a small tree. (About 3-4 ft high) And the nest was all messed up so we weren't going to just leave them there because there are a lot of cats on our street. Please help! We also know that the eggs were already fertilized because of the color and when we candled them, the inside looked normal with the yolk in place. All tips and precautions are welcome, thanks!

The key is to keep them warm and turn them periodically. After a few days you should be able to candle them and if you see veins through the shell then they are still alive. However if after about a week and you do not see any veins, sadly the egg has died. Bird embryos grow and mature very quickly.
If you are fortunate to have found them before they got cold, and you are able to keep them at the correct temperature (i have no idea what it would be for a blue jay). Feeding them is the next step which will be hard because momma bird usually digests the food (bugs, worms, and what have you) for the babies to eat. I'm sure there are supplements at petsmart or some other animal store which sells bird supplies.
