Im pregnant and my mom calls me fat WTF!?!?
Help me out here. My mom is not the nicest person, she always has something to complain about to make herself happy. I am in a loving relationship with my husband, and my mom is not happy with it. We are also 7months pregnant. I orginally am a size 3 and a medium in tops. Right now I am a size small in maternity wear pants and a large in reular sized tops. She will say infront of other people look how fat she is and she calls me fat. Im not fat I am pregnant. I was 110 pounds and now I think I am around 150ish pounds. My baby bump is also quite small compared to other pregnant woman in the thrid trimester, which makes me alil worried but the doctor says everything is ok. Please help what would you say to her about this, what do you think about this situation and why would she say something like this to her daughter that is expecting her first baby.
I would tell her that you find it embarrassing when she says those things. The first reason is because you are pregnant not fat, and the second being that she looks bad when she calls her daughter fat.
I threw a bridal shower for my friend not long ago and her mother pointed out my friend's "beer gut" to everyone. I was actually embarrassed for her mom because it made her look so bad. It didn't change the way I thought of my friend, but it sure changed the way I looked at her mom.
