Friend gets angry at me about my maternity clothes etc?
I have a friend who I adore who has a baby. Now that I'm pregnant and have started wearing maternity clothes she comments on them and says how much she likes them. She will ask me where I got them. I have bought some at pea in the pod and mimi maternity. I will just tell her the truth and she gets kind of mad at me for spending money. I don't want to LIE to her about where I got the clothes, but she gets really upset about where I shop. I'm not shopping there to be snotty or mean to her, yet it seems she takes it that way. How can I deal with this situation? I feel bad.
Both my husband and I are always helping them out financially when they are in trouble. They have a child and need help. How can I handle this?
Well, what are you supposed to do? Wear over-sized t-shirts and sweatpants for your entire pregnancy all because your friend is jealous? It's not her business where or how you spend your money. Simple as that. No reason to feel bad.
