Some fashion tips for a black 'dress'?
Hey,
Just bought a black 'dress' online except now I find it is wayyyyy too short to wear as a dress without leggings - seriously!
It's babydoll style, plain black, sort of t-shirt material, with straps.
I need to wear a belt with it (to stop it looking like a maternity top!) and leggings. Just wondered what colours you would wear for the belt, leggings and shoes? Nothing too crazy!

If you are feeling crafty, you could sew some material to the bottom of the dress. It would be cute to do something like a red or yellow section of fabric around the bottom to add length, then you have a one of kind design.
Strait leg jeans with some red or animal print shoes would be cute with that, depending on your body type.
I like the idea mixing a little black "dress" with grays, reds, yellows, purple, or animal print. Be very careful with the animal print... i wouldn't do the leggings in that.
My final answer... red belt, gray tights, animal print heals.... if that is too crazy, replace heals with red and black heals.
