"Fashion" protocol for nurses?
Hi - I recently completed my studies and started working at a hospital full time a month or two ago. I was wondering, is it wrong to be wearing a thong under my nurse's scrubs? Don't get me wrong - I'm not talking about a black lace thong or a leopard print thong. I mean, I just wear a plain white basic athletic thong - something that is as discreet as possible under the white scrubs yet is still very comfortable on long shifts.
This might sound a little paranoid, but I just get the feeling people are talking behind my back, especially some of the older nurses.
I don't want to offend anyone, but at the same time I still want to be comfortable.
Any nurses out there or hygenists, etc? What do you do? What is your opinion?
You might also want to choose a thicker white scrub that wont show through, so you dont have to worry as much about what you are wearing underneath:
