maternity wardrobe how much is too much?
i've roughly got 4 months left (im 24ish wks) and I am finally big enough for clothes and I didn't really shop for anything with my first. I basically wore pajamas all the time and had 2 "man I have to get out of the house" outfits which consisted of a black short sleeve top, a grey long sleeve, a pair of jeans and a black pair of cargo maternity pants. so now I might be going over board. I have 13 tops I like a lot, 2 coats, 2 jackets, 3 jeans, 2 pant/khaki/dressy botoms, 2 scarves, and about 5 peices of jewelry to go with it and of course 2 pairs of shoes. Keep in mind right now all I am wearing is 2 pairs of yoga pants and 3 shirts that are about to be too small. Is that too much for the 16ish weeks I have left? (of course I'll be wearing them probably till spring as I'm due in Feb.)
if you can afford it, its not too much. i wouldnt need 4 jackets, but i live in alabama too, lol. if it snows, i imagine having more than one is nice so you dont wear the same one everyday. 5 pairs of pants and 13 tops? you could probably cut back on the number of tops a bit, but 5 pairs of pants is great. i had 3 pairs of jeans and 3 pairs of shorts for this pregnancy, and probably about 8 tops that were specifically maternity tops. so, yeah, id say that what you got isnt too much. like i said, if you can afford it, go for it. good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
